Occasionally we have people asking if we can re-home their hound for various reasons.
If you are interested in re-homing, you need to be sure that you can look after such a large dog, and offer a safe and happy environment for it, as some dogs do not always get the best start in life.
We have a request from Rachel for a new owner/home for her dog Gambit.
She bred him, and he is 22 months old so she knows his history
He is a very sociable dog, that likes other dogs and people, however he is not good with livestock, as many wolfhounds are not, and he is living surrounded by fields of cattle etc.
It is not possible to let him have the run he is used to, as he will chase, and Rachel is worried that he will do damage. Therefore she is looking for a more residential environment for him.
